AI systems can unintentionally treat people unfairly by reinforcing existing biases. This can mean fewer opportunities in important areas like healthcare, housing, or finding a job—especially for marginalized communities.
AI will also change how we work. For example, about 60% of jobs held by Latinos today could be affected by automation and new technologies. Without better access to education and training, many people could lose out on future opportunities.
That’s why /http/ is bringing together leaders, policymakers, and communities to make sure AI and new technologies are developed responsibly, with everyone’s best interests in mind.
